  • What should I bring to our first meeting?
It's great to spend some time thinking about your investing goals before our first meeting. Any notes that you take during your goal setting is helpful. Also, any investment or debt statements are helpful to bring along as well, though not mandatory.
  • Is there a cost for the consultation appointment?
No. There is no fee for the initial consultation.
  • What kind of fees do you charge?
Our fees are based on a percentage of assets under management. During our planning sessions we’ll have a very detailed fee discussion, and you will have a thorough understanding of our process and the fees associated with investing.
  • How are you regulated?
Archer Consulting Group is a registered investment advisor (RIA) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The SEC routinely audits RIA firms to ensure compliance with securities laws and SEC policies. We are happy to provide a copy of our regulatory filing upon request.
  • Where will my money be kept and will I have access to it?
Fidelity Investments is the custodian for our clients’ assets. You will always have access to your money. You will receive a monthly statement from Fidelity and be able to view your accounts online at any time.
  • Do you work with clients outside of Texas and Louisiana?
Absolutely! It’s great to meet in an office but we are comfortable using several user-friendly technologies to save the hassle of driving. Zoom meetings are very convenient and can be very effective. Happy to meet in person, but just as happy to set up a Zoom call.
  • What is your process?
The first step is to simply have a conversation. That first discussion centers around your needs and our services. If, at the end of that low-stress meeting we both decide we might be a fit, we can move to planning and analysis. In the planning phase, we work to provide you with options and paths to your various goals. At the end of the planning phase clients usually have a very good idea if they would like to move forward or go in a different direction. We try to move along at the pace that’s comfortable for the client and especially to ensure the entire process is stress free.
  • How can I learn more about working with you?
Reach out to us by phone at (210) 601-6025 or email us and tell us about your situation. Even if it doesn’t require a formalized relationship we’ll work hard to help you out.
